We have assembled a dedicated and experienced team of peer support specialist professionals with a broad range of technical expertise in military culture as a small woman-owned firm.
Bursary Group is looking to expand its employment ranks to 15 people in support of local talent and opportunities. This deep pool of talent will allow us to provide our clients with guidance and assistance on virtually any aspect of coordinating mental health and substance use disorder recovery.

We endeavor to open 8 new offices in 2018 to provide safe stigma free counseling resources. Healthy families is our goal!
OUR COMPANY
Bursary Group was founded in 2010 with the objective of acquiring and developing a portfolio of investment quality companies on behalf of its principals and in partnership with stakeholders. The principals and key associates of Bursary Group Wellness & Work have extensive experience in the acquisition, and development of workforces. While supporting our veterans' education we believe that intangible assets are being built among a valuable workforce. Bursary Group Wellness & Work endeavors to provide four merit scholarships to well deserving students across an array of fields being studied at the undergraduate and masters degree level through our CEA affiliation with Stratford University in Northern Virginia.
In addition to the expectation of opening offices in Northern Virginia and Baltimore, MD.in 2018 with convenient locations near our client base, we also expect to utilize a virtual telemedicine platform to provide ease of services and confidentiality with service hours from 6:00 am to 12:00 midnight EST, .Monday through Saturday starting in August. Prior to that limited hours will b available due to training new staff to fill positions at our new locations.

We help veterans re-adjust to civilian life with evidence based practices which include initial exploration of latent and known problem areas and realization of opportunities in education and employment. We set goals, validate each peer visit, and check milestone achievements.

Talking to us somewhat about your life challenges will allow us to pair you with the appropriate peer to provide support. Please know that your Peer has the utmost respect for you (stigma free and judgement free zone) and your confidentiality. Your Peer Support Specialist will most likely have lived experience with PTSD or substance use disorder but lives a life of dedicated recovery that encompasses hope and "meeting all peers where they are on their journey in life today".
